Alone in the woods..
I never imagined being alone in the woods, but now I would just have to survive on my own until they find me.
I had just been separated from my hiking group about an hour ago. I was getting really thirsty and stopped by a lake to get some water to drink and take a short rest. I ended up taking a long nap. I woke up and found my self still right by the lake, shocked at first. I quickly got up; as I was looking around for my hiking group I finally realized that my group had left me alone! Many thoughts were running through my head at this time. How could they just leave me alone like this? How am I going to get back home? What am I going to eat? As I was starting to settle down I grabbed my backpack and headed toward a big tree. It was starting to get dark, and I was really tired so I decided to go to sleep.
In the morning I woke up to a bird peeking at my head. Shooing it away I noticed something in a bush a few feet away. As I got closer I noticed that the thing in the bush was a map. Excited I graded the map and read it. According to the map it said that there was a main highway around seven miles away. As fast I could possibly run I grabbed my bag, went to the lake got a big jug of water, and took of.
A few hours have passed and I’m so close to being in town. Just a few more steps and ill be in town. I learned my lesson to never take a quick stop during a long hick or I may never make it through like I did this time. I am very lucky.
Moral Courage Project..Rosa Parks

Rosa Parks has moral courage because on December 1st in 1995 she refused to give up her seat on the bus to make room for a white passenger. She was put in jail for saying no. Marten Luther king jr. and Rosa Parks changed the civil rights together by sticking up for there race. Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King jr. created black history month which is in February for there acts of moral courage. Rosa parks got attacked by a man in 1996 in her home because of what she did on the bus. In 2005 Rosa Parks passed away at the age of 92.

The wave :)

Do you think students are misunderstood by teachers why or why not?
No i do not think that the students are misunderstood by the teachers. I think that because, the teachers always try their best in trying to teach us the best way possible.
Sometimes i think that parents and teachers always want there way because they are the boss of us and we have to listen to what they do. They also don't want to spend time listening to the way we prefer to do it.
I think that we should have the right to speak our minds to everyone, even if its wrong or weird we should not keep what we wanted to say inside.
Most of the times we are not ignored at this school. The teachers try to always to do their best to always listen to our side of the story, how we solve our school work, and how we like learning best.

The day I was born
I cant exactly remember the day I was in the hospital trying to savior each breath. I had kidney failure. I had to be put in to a respirator to be stabilized. I was in the hospital for about two weeks. Every one in my family were extremely worried because they went sure if I was going to make it. The one that was worried the most was my Aunt Martha. My aunt Martha is a extremely important to me because she has always been there for me. She was the one that would come mostly every day and pray for me to make it. As the days went on day I was starting to do a little better. The nurses and doctors were helping my every day to help my kidneys develop better. One time when my aunt Martha came in to the hospital to visit me again she brought in a little tiny gold bracelet. It had my name carved in to it, it was so beautiful. After I got out of the hospital I was put on to antibiotics for about one year and a half. I still had that bracelet on. When I look back at old pictures and I see that gold bracelet it makes me believe that the bracelet I had on the whole entire time actually did bring me good luck.
My day at the Del Mar Fair
The day was fun even though it was as hot as the Sahara desert out, as I was walking on the grounds of the Del Mar fair with my Grandma and other family members. We were there all day having a wonderful time with my family. We went to the Del Mar fair because we got free tickets. While we were there I had to do a few dance performances but after performing all of my dance performances my sister and I went on a lot of cool rides. We went on many different rides, upside down ones fast ones, slow ones, scary ones, fun ones, until we starting feeling really sick. My grandma suggested that we walk around and see if there is anything new that we want there this year before we left, and there was. We found many amazing cool shops! When we walked in we saw beautiful stones, jewels, and jewelery that made the whole store dazel. It was so beautiful! My aunts, grandma, and I were all so amazed on how beautiful every thing was. It was so much fun looking at all the cool stones. My Granada bought both my sister and I some really nice stones that was her birth stone. They also had some really cool turtles glued on them. She also bought each one of the girls some pearl necklaces. They were so beautiful and each time we all get together for a family get together we always wear our pearl necklaces. It was so much fun and even though the day was extremely hot out we all had a great time.
